Recently Kristen visited Ohio and spent a day with our mom, Sandy, and me at The Cleveland Museum of Art. The collections and the building's peaceful architecture (a recent renovation soldered together the original 1916 building with a modern structure connected by a huge glass-enclosed atrium) provided us all with equal parts inspiration and relaxation, which was perfect. We all needed it.
Bonus: The CMA amazingly has free admission and photos are allowed! It also has the most friendly guards - one gentleman even complimented our perfumes - which were, incidentally, Tom Ford Velvet Orchid and Elizabeth and James Nirvana. (The third person in our party had not even showered - I won't say which one! Ha.)
